I feel like now I'm in the midst of the 10 Day You Challenge I've not posted about makeup in a while! This sadly is not a helpful beauty post, nor a FOTD. Yesterday, using as much trust as I could gather, I let my best friend do my makeup. I've seen so many boyfriend/brother/best friend does my makeup videos on youtube, so I knew the risks! Here are the results.. control yourselves!
Look one: The everyday look. This literally took 1 hour and 50 minutes to achieve. I honestly do not understand how haha! I rated this as reasonable.
Look two: The night out look. Night out with the drag queens?! Gel liner featured heavily in this look, which took a further 40 minutes to achieve. There was a LOT of makeup on my face. A scary point was when he demanded to use false lashes.. but very successfully, it was impressive.
Look three: Two toned beauty. Whilst I was getting my face drawn on, my friend Karen was watching..and laughing. Revenge is sweet. I only had influence on her lipstick and blusher, but really, seeing this was enough haha.
For those of you who don't know, my best mate is male. This is not the work of a makeup-conscientious female. For some reference, this is what Karen and I usually look like:

The first one would probably be really nice with a bit of eyeshadow blending. You were brave to do this :) i just don't trust guys with brushes near my face to not blind me :S x
ReplyDeleteHaha I agree! There was some definite blending needed! It was a surreal experience. I did get some makeup in my eye, but I'm not blinded, so I still see this as a success! hehe

He didn't do to bad for the first look i dont think... but that qould usually only take not even 20 mins! how on earth did it take him soo long!! hehe! and can i just say what on earth did he do to you in look 2?!? your lips!!! the eye liner?! hehe i love how he wanted to put fake eye lashes on!! he didnt do a bad job on them!!

Ahahaahahahaa! I KNOW! I didn't even realise about the time until much later! My lips will hopefully never be that shape again! *fingers crossed* I was so worried about lash glue but that was the least of my worries hehe.
